Ayeh, the all time favorite serial teen drama series is back, and they return with more twisted surprises for everyone. The eleventh season of the hit Canadian show Degrassi is coming this July 18, 2011. Formerly known as Degrassi: The Next Generation which evolves in the life of young adults facing the different issues of the modern time. Honestly, I was amazed on how the writers able to use a semi-floating timeline so that it can depict the modern issues which is suit on the taste of the viewers. It has 45 episodes in this season and probably having a telenovel/soap opera format of airing, with showing the new episodes every four days a week, in the first seven weeks. But I also heard that the twelfth season has been orgainised and ordered by MuchMusic.

In the eleventh episode of the series, there are some changes that might surprise the audiences but in the end, we will surely found ourselves enjoying the latest season from Degrassi. Overall, this season is comprise by twenty-five actors in the title sequence and there are three more than the previous season. Returning stars were Raymond Ablack, Charlotter Arnold, Munro Chambers, Annie Clark, Sam Earle, Luke Bilyk, Alicia Josipovic, Daniel Kelly, Jahmil French, A.J. Saudin, Shannon Kook-Chun, Cory Lee, Samantha Munro, Argiris Karras, Spencer Van Wyck, Jessica Tyler, Aislinn Paul, Jajube Mandiela, Jordan Todosey and Melinday Shankar. Only original cast return in this season is Stefan Brogren. Some of the characters in the previous season has no longer be a part of this season like Judy Jiao as Leia Chang, Jamie Johnston as Peter Stone and Landon Liboiron as Declan Coyne, probably, some had left the series or had been transfer into a recurring roles. But don’t worry guys, for there are new members in the cast such as Justin Kelly, Cristine Prosperi and Chloe Rose and Shanice Banton who had made an appearance in the season ten was also given a star billing.

Probably, this is another season of depicting the modern issues about the teenage life as well as the challenges that the young individuals out there are facing right now. The series focus on certain topics in the life of teenagers like intoxication, pregnancy, sex, homosexuality, abortion, bullying, family problems, rape and death. Of course, as a teenager I can barely relate myself in those things, and I know that many teenagers out there were also follow the story of the series as it unfold into a new chapter on Degrassi Season 11 Episode 1: Spring Fever. In the premiere episode of the season 11, Raymond Ablack as Sav Bhandari together with the other students in the fictional school of Degrassi attend a Keke Palmer concert. A new storyling will revolve between Drew Torres and Bianca DeSousa.
